WOW! Why did it take me so long to buy this lens? I sold all my Nikon gear in late 2015 and switched to the X-T1 with five lenses. It wasn’t until June 2017 that I bought this incredible lens: the FUJINON XF 50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR.

It has quickly become my most favourite lens in the FUJIFILM X Series lineup, having stayed glued on my X-T2 for the last 16 months. I think it is an amazing lens for portraits and travel. Yes, that’s right, travel! Not the lightest lens in Fujifilm’s lineup, but I have never regretted taking it on a trip with me.

Beautiful images! I was brought here by your list of Fuji lenses by weight which was really useful! The 50-140mm looks like an excellent lens, I’m weighing up whether to swap it with my 16-55mm or get the 55-200m instead.

    1. Hi Will! Thanks for your comment. I love the 55-200 but to be honest I’ve rarely used it after getting the 50-140 lens. Cheers Matt
